My SVC Transcript
Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to read and understand your SVC transcript.
Objectives
In this activity, you will learn the following skills & knowledge:
- Access your SVC schedule & transcript
- Understand how to obtain an your SVC transcript
Outcomes
- Become familiar with the United States higher education system, including terminology and institutional norms
- Access college and community resources to secure success in the classroom
Directions
Step 1: SVC Official Transcripts
- Read about SVC Transcripts below.
Step 2: Access your SVC Unofficial Transcript
- Go to www.skagit.edu .
- At the top, click on ctcLink.
- On the top left, click on ctcLink Login.
- Enter your ctcLink ID and SVC Password to sign in.
- On the left, click on Academics.
- In the drop down menu, click on View Unofficial Transcript. If this is your first quarter at SVC, you will not have a transcript until after you complete your first quarter.
- On the top left, click on View PDF.
- Read and study your transcript. Notice previous courses you have taken at SVC, Term GPA Totals, and at the bottom your Cumulative GPA (Cum GPA).
Step 3: Take the Quiz
- Click on Take the Quiz below.
- Type answers to the questions in complete sentences in the text box below each question.
- For questions #1-3, view your SVC unofficial transcript*.
- For questions #4-5, read about SVC transcripts below.
- When you have answered all of the questions, click Submit Quiz.
*If this is your first quarter at SVC, you can answer the questions using the Transcript Example below.
