Midterm Exam

Overview

Students need more than English, reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills to be successful in College & Career Bridge (CCB) and college courses. They also need digital literacy, time management skills, and support from family and friends. In addition, it is helpful to understand college discourse and resources. There are some things that we can control in order to have a positive experience. It is important to understand these things before transitioning to higher-level classes.

Purpose

The purpose of the midterm is for you to think about your strengths and challenges. This will help you use your strengths and plan for ways to overcome challenges which will help you in college and in your career.

Objectives

In this midterm, you will gain the following skills & knowledge:

  • Understand the questions on the midterm
  • Think about the questions and your answers carefully before writing the answers
  • Answer all the questions on the midterm even when you are not sure 

Outcomes

This midterm will prepare you to:

  • Access college and community resources to secure success in the classroom.     
  • Explore career options   
  • Plan an appropriate academic schedule and program completion timeline, including an education plan.   
  • Employ effective study skills
