Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to understand your education plan and schedule for next quarter.
Objective
In this activity, you will learn the following skills & knowledge:
- Know how to access and understand your education plan & schedule
Outcomes
The objective in this assignment will prepare you to:
- Plan an appropriate academic schedule and program completion timeline, including an education plan
- Access college and community resources to secure success in the classroom
Directions
Step 1: Access Your Education Plan
- You should have your Education Plan saved on your computer. You should have done this in 8.3 - Education Plan Completed with Navigator. If you do not have your Education Plan saved on your computer, follow the instructions below to access it.
- Go to the SVC website
- Click on MySVC
- In the Student Toolbox, click on Resources/Advising
- Click on Educational Plan
- Enter your SID (old student number, not ctcLink number) & PIN (your 6 digit birthdate)
Step 2: Access Your Schedule for Spring Quarter 2022
- Go to the SVC website
- Click on MySVC
- Click on ctcLink
- Click on ctcLink Login and login
- Click on Schedule
- Click on the List View (3 lines in the top left corner)
- Click on Term and select Spring 2022
- You can click on View Details to see more information about each class.
- If you have not registered for spring quarter 2022 yet, click here: 8.6 - Register for Spring Quarter (45 minutes)
Step 3: Answer the Questions
- Click on Start Quiz below.
- Answer questions #1-6 & 10 about your education plan.
- Answer questions #7-10 about your spring quarter 2022 schedule.
- Type your answers in complete sentences in the box under each question.
- When you have answered all of the questions, click Submit Quiz.
Criteria
This assignment is worth 10 points. To receive full points, you should:
- Answer the questions correctly and in complete sentences.
